Davey T Hamilton has a tenor voice and combines Country Music with Rock Drums, Horns, and Loud Guitars. His progressive sound is a blend of Southern Rock, Country, Bluegrass, and Pop. Davey T’s influences come from a huge melting pot of music. His Mom and Dad filled the house with Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, Lionel Ritchie, Kenny Rogers, and Alabama. During his teens, he added Lenny Kravitz, Dwight Yoakam, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, and many others to these childhood favorites.

Until eight years ago, Davey had never played an instrument or sang a song for an audience. "I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket," says Davey T. Why the transformation - or perhaps more importantly how? A college student at the University of Kentucky, Davey had been considering a major but wasn’t certain of his course. An athlete who enjoyed working out, he drifted toward kinesiology simply because his friends told him it would be a natural fit. However, when Davey moved in with a friend who seemed to have abandoned his guitar, his fate was sealed as was his direction in life. He picked up the guitar, strummed at the strings and followed the urge to correctly play the instrument. "I love playing the guitar," says Davey; who quickly learned what many might consider a difficult skill.

Thus began an intense regimen for Davey T to learn all that he could and this would also lead him to Nashville. Along with the guitar, he would learn nine other instruments. He also read at length about how to increase his vocal range and studied other vocalists who had a similar voice. His interest in music eventually led to songwriting and with the aid of what Davey terms "good songwriters in Nashville who help him,” he writes most of his songs. “Every lyric has meaning for me and is something I have experienced,” says Davey T.
